Our Founder
Torrey Lansing is the Founder of Rippleton Center, and has been in the child care business for 20 years. She started her career as a preschool teacher, became the Assistant Director of Programming at the Children’s Center at Morrisville State College, Director of Cazenovia Community Preschool, Director of Child Care at Tompkins Cortland Community College, Director at Cazenovia Children’s House and is currently in Development for Joseph’s House for Women and was tasked helping with the development of a Child Care Center for Joseph’s House.
Our Teachers
Teachers are hired based on passion and knowledge of childhood education. Rippleton Inc. offers numerous paid staff development days throughout the year to ensure the staff are up to date with best practices in the field of early childhood eduction. Background checks are conducted for new hires. All staff and counselors are properly trained and follow all requirements from OCFS.
Our Licensing
Rippleton Center is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). Our standards follow all licensing requirements.
